TP Towing serves Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Zephyrhills, New Tampa, Temple Terrace, Greater Carrollwood, and surrounding areas in Hillsborough and Pasco County. Service availability may depend on your exact location and the time of day. 

No. TP Towing is not a 24/7 towing company. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Arrival time depends on your location, traffic, weather, and truck availability. When you call, we will give you the most accurate estimated arrival time possible based on your pickup location. 

Yes. Many all-wheel-drive vehicles can be towed safely with the right equipment. Depending on the vehicle and situation, we may use a flatbed tow truck, wheel-lift tow truck, or tow dollies to help keep the vehicle protected during transport. 

In many cases, you do not have to ride with the tow truck or stay with the vehicle the entire time. However, we may need the keys, pickup instructions, drop-off information, and authorization before moving the vehicle. We also recommend removing valuables and personal belongings before the tow. 

Yes, when the vehicle is loaded, secured, and transported properly. Our operators use the proper equipment for the vehicle and situation to help reduce the risk of damage during towing. 

Yes, we can assist with many low-clearance vehicles. Please let us know if your vehicle is lowered, has custom body parts, a front lip, side skirts, or any special clearance concerns before the tow so we can prepare the proper equipment. 

A wheel-lift tow truck lifts either the front or rear wheels of the vehicle off the ground while the other wheels remain on the road. When needed, tow dollies can be used to keep additional wheels off the ground for safer transport. 

Yes. Flatbed towing is available and is often recommended for vehicles that cannot roll, vehicles with certain mechanical issues, low-clearance vehicles, accident vehicles, and some long-distance transports. 

Move to the shoulder or a safe location if you can. Turn on your hazard lights, stay aware of traffic, and avoid standing near moving vehicles. If it is unsafe to remain in or near the vehicle, move to a safer area and call for roadside assistance or towing. 

First, check for injuries and call 911 if anyone needs medical help or if the accident is blocking traffic. Once the scene is safe and you are allowed to move the vehicle, TP Towing can help with accident towing and vehicle recovery. 

We do not repair tires on the side of the road. If you have a usable spare tire, we can help change the flat tire. If you do not have a spare or the vehicle cannot be safely driven, we can tow it to a tire shop or repair facility. 

Check that the vehicle is in park, the battery terminals are secure, and there is fuel in the vehicle. If the battery is weak, TP Towing can provide a jump start. If the vehicle still will not start, we can tow it to a repair shop. 

Yes. If you run out of gas, TP Towing can provide fuel delivery when available. If the vehicle still does not start after fuel is added, we can help arrange a tow to a repair facility. 

Yes. TP Towing provides vehicle lockout assistance, including many vehicles with keyless entry systems. Our goal is to unlock the vehicle carefully while reducing the risk of damage. 

Yes. TP Towing provides winch-out service for vehicles stuck in mud, sand, grass, ditches, or other difficult spots. The price and process depend on how the vehicle is stuck, the ground conditions, and how much recovery work is needed. 

Towing coverage depends on your auto insurance policy, roadside assistance plan, or warranty coverage. Some customers may be reimbursed by their insurance company, but we recommend checking directly with your provider. 

You can schedule a tow by calling TP Towing or requesting service through our website. Please provide the pickup address, drop-off address, vehicle type, vehicle condition, and any special instructions. 

If your vehicle was removed from private property or you are unsure who towed it, contact the local police department or sheriff’s office for the area where the vehicle was parked. They may be able to tell you whether the vehicle was reported as towed and where it was taken.
